Compatible Products

Eco Smart Connect is compatible with thousands of products

It is easy to end up with a multitude of Apps required to operate a home, business, or farm.
  • Multiple apps are hard to manage and difficult to share with everybody who needs access to the property.
  • By choosing compatible products you can enjoy the benefits of a single easy-to-use app that is easy to share and manages the notifications as well as To Do lists, arrival and departure procedures, maintenance schedules, and product warranty lists for the property.
  • The single platform approach also enables logic/ macros to operate across all the devices, for example when you leave and set the alarm the doors lock, heat pumps and lights turn off.

It is easy to end up with a multitude of Apps required to operate a home, business, or farm.

  • Smartlife Hubs. Smartlife manufactures an optional Hub or Controller similar to those made by Control4, Crestron, RTI and Savant. It has connections: IR (to control TVs, Foxtel, Apple TV, etc), relays, contact closure, Z-Wave, Modbus, RS232/485. It is required to be on the same network as supported TCP-controlled equipment such as cameras, alarms, multi-room amplifiers, surround sound receivers, video matrix switches, and KNX devices (thousands of products used in commercial control internationally).
  • Smart Life / Tuya Integration. Supports thousands of products with the Smart Life or Tuya logo. Search Amazon for Smart Life. Smartlife has tested products from Schneider Wiser, Brilliant Smart, Kogan Smart, and Sunbeam.
  • Shelly energy monitoring and control
  • Enode EVs, EV chargers and some HVAC and solar reporting.
  • LoRaWAN and NB-IoT products. There are thousands of compatible devices – LoRaWAN is known for long-range low power – up to 10km range and extremely long, often multi-year battery life. Used in Agritech, large campuses, retirement villages, and companies that don’t want IoT devices on their network (with cellular IoT backhaul)

Apps

Installers can download Smartlife Connect App – the Location can be shared to you by Smartlife or the Customer.

The following apps are required to enrol some products – these apps are not generally used by the End User

For installers, you want to use Smartlife Air App to enrol Tuya-based products such as the Brilliant Smart, Kogan Smart, Wiser, Grid.

And the Shelly app to enrol Shelly products

Amazon Alexa

Energy Meters

Monitor the main feed to measure grid consumption and solar export.
Monitor energy use of heat pumps, solar panels, battery inverters, etc
Control and Monitor energy used by hot water heaters, panel heaters, underfloor heating, pool pumps and heating, lighting, etc

Alexa Voice Control

Control any of the connected devices via Alexa.
From the Connect Web App you can configure voice commands to run any logic item.

Digital Door Locks

Digital door locks in the App make access control easy for everyone. People love the fact that we can also control the alarm and the gate from the one app. If you are running late you can unlock the door, unset the alarm and even turn some lights on for your visitor.

Please note:

Smart Security - Alarm and Access Control

Gate and Door control, Motion detection, Smoke alarm, voice and siren deterrence

Smartlife Connect supports a wide range of security products including AAP ESX and Paradox Alarm modules.

Wired Cameras

Wired cameras are preferable when possible as they generally have better image quality, especially when you need to zoom in after an incident. A single cat cable can power the camera and connect it to the network and internet without using any of your Wi-Fi bandwidth.
Any camera supporting RTSP protocol can be displayed:

Wifi Cameras

If you can’t get a cable there, Wi-Fi cameras are the next best option.
Any Tuya-based camera can be displayed:

Heat Pumps and ducted HVAC

Don’t order the Wi-Fi option with your heat pump or ducted HVAC system as it is not compatible with any automation system.
Intesis produce a compatible interface to many main brand Heat Pumps and HVAC systems.
For Hi-Wall Heat pumps (that are usually controlled by a remote) you can optionally use the Moes Wi-Fi Thermostat – in this case, it must be mounted within sight of the indoor unit as it controls it via IR, same as the remote.
